Bertha M. ‘Bert’ Pedersen passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Avamere in Lexington with her daughter by her side. Bert was born April 11, 1932, in Oconto to Orel E. and Ethel C. Richey. She attended school in Oconto, graduating in 1949, having to stay in town with other family to attend school.
Evelyn Marie Petersen of Cozad peacefully passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Meadowlark Pointe Assisted Living at the age of 96. Evelyn was born Feb. 21, 1930, at Wood River, Nebraska to William and Lena (Bohnart) Callahan. She graduated from Shelton High School with the class of 1948.
Kelva L. Devine passed away Friday, April 10, 2026, at Meadowlark Pointe in Cozad at the age of 95. Kelva was born Sep. 3, 1930, in Cozad to Elijah and Clara (Frazier) Beans. She was the fifth of six children. She grew up on a farm north of Cozad.
