Wayne E Janssen, of Gothenburg, passed away on Aug. 19, 2026. He lived and farmed north of Gothenburg all his life. A dedicated farmer, Wayne raised irrigated corn, wheat, cattle and soybeans for many years and took great pride in his work and the farming community.  

Darla June Banzhaf, 73, of Eustis passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2026, at CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney surrounded by her loving family. 
Darla was the kind of person whose love could be felt in everything she did. For 55 years, she shared her life with her husband, Larry, building a marriage filled with love, loyalty, and a lifetime of memories. 

Patricia Ann (Kase) Bargholz-Thompson, 92, passed away on July 25, 2026 at at Meadowlark Pointe in Cozad.
Patricia was born on Nov. 2, 1933, in Santa Barbara, CA, to George and Etta (Ricketts) Kase. She grew up with her brother, Steven. In 1935, the family moved to San Diego, CA, where her father worked on the construction of the Ford Building and Civic Center for the California Pacific International Exposition in Balboa Park.

Roger W. Tederman, formerly of Gothenburg, passed away in Lincoln on Tuesday, July 22, 2026, surrounded by his children. 

Jacqueline Mae Neill of Cozad passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Meadowlark Pointe in Cozad at the age of 98.  
Jacqueline was born in Hebron on Oct. 7, 1927, to Wilbur and Ida Beisner. She graduated from Pawnee City High School in 1946. On Aug. 30, 1947, she married Harold Neill at St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Lincoln. Harold was 21, Jackie was 19.  

Betty Lloyd Malcom Vogt, age 91, was born on Nov. 5, 1934, in Lexington, to Blanche and Leslie Lloyd Sr. She passed away surrounded by the love of the family and friends who meant so much to her throughout her remarkable life. 
On July 12, 1951, Betty married Dale Malcom. Together they built a life filled with hard work, laughter, adventure, and family. They were blessed with three children: Deb, Dave and Don.
